ACCCN Qld is pleased to announce that it will be making another award to support critical care practice development in Queensland. The award is valued at up to $5000. ACCCN Qld members are invited to apply for this award.

Funding will be awarded based on the rationale given for the audit/project, the clarity of its design, and its relevance to clinical practice.

“A quality improvement process that seeks to improve patient care and outcomes through systematic review of care against explicit criteria, identification, from the review, of action to improve clinical practice and the implementation of those actions. Aspects of the structure, processes, and outcomes of care are selected and systematically evaluated against explicit criteria. Where indicated, changes are implemented at an individual, team, or service level and further monitoring is used to confirm improvement in healthcare delivery”
