Each year Australian College of Critical Care Nurses Ltd. (ACCCN) members are invited to nominate for election to an ACCCN State Branch Committee of Management position.
These positions offer an exciting opportunity to be part of the governance of ACCCN and participate in the implementation of strategic plans and objectives of the College. You will benefit personally through the skills, experience, and networking opportunities available to you via your involvement at Branch management level.
ACCCN consists of six State Branches, all of which have a Branch Management Committee. Each Branch Management Committee has an executive of President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer, National representative and a number of committee members. The total number of positions on each Branch Management Committee was chosen by the respective branches at the formation of the College:
New South Wales = 12
Queensland = 9+3*
South Australia = 11
Tasmania = 7
Victoria = 12
Western Australia = 6
The election period for 2008 has now closed. There are still vacancies in some branches.
