  • Provide research leadership within the St Vincent's Centre for Nursing Research

ALS Assessors - Queensland based

ACCCN Queensland is calling for experienced critical care nurses to lecture and assess in our Advanced Life Support courses. All teaching material is provided to instructors for each course, and an hourly rate of pay is provided for associated course co-coordinating, instruction, and course assessments.

Interested nurses who meet the following criteria should submit a covering letter and curriculum vitae outlining their experience to:

Selection Criteria

  • Current ALS certification
  • Current ALS instructor certification
  • Knowledge of ARC and ILCOR resuscitation guidelines
  • Previous experience in education and competency assessment
  • Prior attendance at ACCCN ALS Instructor Program strongly recommended
  • Previous experience as an ALS instructor/assessor or recent clinical involvement in ALS interventions desirable

Nurse 2 Remuneration Package Range $62 638 - $82 638

(comprising salary $54 377 - $71 940, superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave)

Potential total Remuneration Package in the vicinity of $80 000 for Post Graduate Nurses, which includes the above Package Range and in addition; salary sacrifice and professional development allowance. Pro rata entitlements apply.

Several part time positions available in various specialities for 0.84 (32 hours) per week, at Alice Springs and Royal Darwin Hospitals.
