Mike Cowdroy Education Grant for Rural Nurses

Peter and Annie Cowdroy established the Mike Cowdroy
and Intensive Care Foundation Education Grant in memory of their son, Mike Cowdroy, a well-known country rock musician
from the band Southbound, who died in intensive care after
a horrific car crash in 2003. "This grant will provide ongoing benefit in the area of rural intensive care education
and training for nurses" said Peter Cowdroy.

An education grant of up to $2000 is available for a rural based nurse to attend a critical care conference or educational event.
Rural nurses are invited to apply for this education grant. Applications close 5pm 13 August 2010.
