ACCCN offers credentialling a range of resusciation training courses, state seminars and education evenings, an annual national ACCCN Confernce and the annual Scientific Meeting held in conjuction with ANZICS.

The National Conference called the ICE Conference is held annually in May/June - click on the ICE logo on the home page.

Adult and Paediatric Resuscitation Programs are conducted by the State Branches.

ACCCN ALS Programs have achieved accreditation with the Australian Resuscitation Council.

NOTE re the National Advanced Life Support Adult & Paediatric Manual for Health Professionals (updated 2008) and sold between April - June 2008. There is an error in the chart on page 47. You can download the corrected table below.

Programs offered include:

ALS Two Day Program
This program is targeted at healthcare professionals who have little or no experience in Advanced Life Support and require a comprehensive and detailed program.

ALS One Day Program
This program is suited to healthcare professionals who have experience in Advanced Life Support, but who require an update in their theoretical and practical knowledge

ALS Fast Track
This program is suited to healthcare professionals who are regularly involved in Advanced Life Support, but require annual re-assessment or accreditation of their knowledge and skills

Two day Resuscitation Instructor Program
This program is suited to healthcare professionals who have little experience in the teaching, learning and assessing principles of resuscitation knowledge and skills.
Current resuscitation certification is essential, as resuscitation skills are not assessed.

One day Resuscitation Instructor Program
This program is suited to healthcare professionals experienced in the provision of teaching and assessing resuscitation skills, but require an update on their knowledge of presenting and assessing skills. Current resuscitation certification is essential, as resuscitation skills are not assessed.
