Interested in joining an Advisory Panel?

 

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being sought from enthusiastic and committed ACCCN members with relevant expertise for membership of the following Advisory Panels:

  1. Workforce Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on matters relevant to workforce issues.
  2. Education Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on all matters relevant to education issues.
  3. Organ & Tissue Donation and Transplantation Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on all related organ and transplantation matters.
  4. Research Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on all matters relevant to research. Among its roles the panel is responsible for evaluating and making recommendations on research grant submissions for ACCCN research grants.
  5. Quality Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on matters relevant to critical care nursing practice relating specifically to patient management.
  6. Resuscitation Advisory Panel - provides expert knowledge, advice and information to ACCCN on all matters relevant to resuscitation and education. The Panel provides oversight of Advanced Life Support materials and courses.
  7. Paediatric Advisory Panel – provides expert knowledge, advice and information on paediatric critical care nursing and to facilitate paediatric critical care networking.

A major purpose of all the ACCCN panels is to provide a resource to the organisation via their members' expertise, networking and timely discussions. Communication between panel members is mostly via email with some teleconferences or meetings as required.

The term of appointment for the panel is two years.

Current members of the panel are welcome to re-apply for the new term.

To nominate for an Advisory Panel:

  1. write to Professor Paul Fulbrook, ACCCN President;
  2. indicate the branch you belong to;
  3. provide the following details:

    • curriculum vitae
    • specific areas of expertise relevant to the panel you are applying for
    • past and current activities within ACCCN
    • contact phone number, postal and email addresses.
