Advanced Life Support in NSW

ACCCN NSW can offer you a comprehensive range of Instructor, Adult and Paediatric Resuscitation Programs accredited with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). Full day programs are fully catered.

ALS Adult Two Day Program
This program is targeted at healthcare professionals who have little or no experience in Advanced Life Support and require a comprehensive and detailed program. Registration includes copy of National ALS Adult/Paediatric manual and self learning workbook. Currently, assessment occurs on the second day.

ALS Adult One Day Program
This program is suited to healthcare professionals who have experience in Advanced Life Support, but who require an update in their theoretical and practical knowledge. Registration includes copy of National ALS Adult/Paediatric manual and self learning workbook. Assessment occurs at a later fast track session.

ALS Paediatric 2.5 Day Program
This program is suited to health professionals who require a comprehensive and detailed program in the provision of Paediatric Advanced Life Support in a hospital setting. Registration in this program includes assessment at a later fast track session (therefore 2 part program) and a copy of National ALS Adult/Paediatric manual and self learning workbook.

ALS Re-certification (Fast Track)
This is a 90min session, suited to healthcare professionals who are regularly involved in Advanced Life Support, but require annual re-assessment or accreditation of their knowledge and skills. There is NO teaching in this session, it is a theory exam and practical scenario.

One Day Resuscitation Instructor Program
This is a theoretical and competency-based program designed to provide with teachers involved in ALS program development and education with a framework of contemporary educational principles. The registration includes ACCCN’s comprehensive Instructor manual consisting of principles of teaching and learning theory and ALS program pre-planning and design.
