Program
An innovative program is currently being designed by our Scientific Committee, under the leadership of Lara Shekerdemian and Jonathan Egan (Medical); and Sharon Kinney and Samantha Keogh (Nursing). They are supported by an International Committee of experts from all regions of the world. Members have worked collaboratively to develop a program that builds on our congress theme,  ‘One World Sharing Knowledge’ . An extensive list of topics will be covered including breathing, circulation, infection & immunity, psychosocial, nutrition, the brain, injury, training, networking, conducting research, quality improvement, the older child, intensive care outside the ICU, research dilemmas, improving partnerships, simulation, e-ICU, and the genome. The new ILCOR guidelines (released in late 2010) will be discussed at the Congress. Poster sessions will feature prominently and will be located to the exhibition hall.
