The Australian College of Critical Care Nurses Ltd. (ACCCN) offers a Resuscitation Curriculum Review Service to organisations that conduct resuscitation courses (BLS, ALS, Adult, Paediatric and Newborn).
ACCCN is a member of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and fully supports the current ARC policy statements as the most appropriate guidelines for the practice of ALS in Australia.The intention of the ACCCN Resuscitation Curriculum Review Service is to assess course curricula for consistency with both the ACCCN Resuscitation Curriculum Guide and ARC Resuscitation guidelines (current at the time of the review).
The Resuscitation Curriculum Review Service is administered through the Resuscitation Committee of ACCCN, which contracts an independent external reviewer to assess whether curricula submitted for review are consistent with the ACCCN Resuscitation Curriculum Guide.
